It was a warm day of February when this fine young couple contacted me. “We are amateur photographers and we rarely take photos of ourselves. Would you be so kind?”

We started walking close to the sunset, so as to catch the ideal light. They were soon amazed by the scenic alleys that the neighborhood of Plaka has to offer.

 

We shared personal stories and we soon enough felt like old friends, getting together after some time away from each-other.

Both young but rather mature and despite their age, a very deep and meaningful relationship. The one that you kindly know it will last for a long long time.

Callie reached me in order to have a personal photoshoot. Being herself a professional photographer, she was a bit shy in the beginning; a rather common thing for all photographers when being in front of the camera.

However we soon built some chemistry and before long she was telling me how great her experience was and that she wanted to bring her family too for a second session.

A few days later we met in the center, me and her beautiful family. During our walk we had lots of laughs and shared some of our personal stories. In between, I managed to make some candid shots.

 

Our walk was reaching its end; a few last photos to remind them their great time in Athens!

It was last December when Claire contacted me in order to schedule a photoshoot.

Following their wishes, I decided to prolong the tour, covering a bit more natural environment besides the usual “hidden” spots in the city.

Being artists themselves we had a lot to share during our walk when I realized that Jared was about to propose to Claire. It was a great decision by him and an awesome moment I had to capture as well as I could.

I had the pleasure of meeting these very interesting people last November.

I always feel excited when I meet people who like to travel; explorers of different parts of the world, different customs and ideas.

It was not their first time visiting Greece so they were a bit familiar with the surroundings. Sarah was a few months pregnant so they decided to have some nice photos of them in a city which they both love.
